“The kayak is extremely buoyant and stable in rough water. Its hands-free, pedal-driven maneuverability means more time fishing and less paddling.”

“It sets up easily and is lightweight, making it easy to get from place to place. You can quickly deflate it and stow it in its travel pack.”

sorry
sorry i never made a comment before.hilo would be the perfect area to try this,to see how well it would go from one fishing area to the next, there are alot of kayaks here in this area and people are always having trouble getting them to different areas and then there is the tide how well does it work in the tide?

Hobie Inflatable Kayak
I would love to field test this there are many streams and creeks here where I live in NY. It is just about time to start the trout fishing season here and that would be the way to go out and catch me some trout since it is hands free I could always have a pole in the water.

Sick kayak
It seems like that mirage drive is sick plus with still having the paddle too you should fly, and it can work in like a foot of water! I wonder how fast this could go with the sail attachment!

A great active little boat. Tried one once in Fourdyce Lake in Northern Califonia and had a fun day trolling along! Caught some nice trout too.

great design
this boat has a great design and can be compacted for storage, it is too bad that the hobie craft designed "outdrive" adds so much cost to this unit, but with the quality of this boat it is to be expected, it would well be worth the money, now I just have to get a bigger paycheck to afford one of these beauties, have many lakes and ponds in wisconsin that this would be ideal, including no wake lakes that are begging to be fished from a boat like this.

Hobie
I definitely would like to field test this Hobie. There are lots of small ponds and lakes in Ma and Maine that this would be ideal to use. It has a low profile and appears to setup and breakdown quickly- much faster than the pontoons and most likely easier to control.
