Topwater, jigging, spinning, soft plastics, hard plastics, etc? I have to say topwater by far; it's so exciting to see the big one just smash your lure. My favorite bait to use is a Rapala Skitter Pop. Those things are amazing. I just started getting into bass fishing seriously (wrong time of year - Fall haha) and I want to become a better worm fisher because that's the money bait. That's how you put big ones in your livewell. How about you guys? What's your favorite fishing technique? 21 Years Young

For me I like to feel the tap on my line when a bass takes the lure on the fall better than any other strike. Senkos, jigworms, and jigs would be my favorites. Angry Bob NAFC Life Member Registered Smallie Fanatic SE WI

Well my favorite is topwater of any type, but it is not always the best way to fill a livewell or win a tournament. lol. Right now the Chatterbait is really hot in our area.
Here are some of my favorite baits to use though.

Topwater/Flyfishing are most fun. I once got 4 strikes from one brush point on a 4inch Zara spook. love to spookem. But like it has been said plastics put more fish in the boat.

Tube baits, Baby Brush Hogs and other plastics. I really get a kick out of that tap on the line or watching it swim off in odd directions.

top waters are the best for the thrill off the action but I personaly love to dead stick a senco or sweet beaver. Throwing a jig in the junk is still my preferes method any time of year. .......... I fish for the moment.............

Jigging or fly fishing makes me happy theres nothing like bouncing a jig off the bottom and settin the hook on a lunker when he takes the bait. Fly Fishing is exciting for me cause i love the sight of a big trout or even a bass coming up and rolling on my fly and fighting it with the fly rod!
